Through funded research projects, training, and community outreach,
the UMass Boston — Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Partnership aims to:
- Improve opportunities for under-represented minority students, fellows, and scientists in basic and population science
- Develop resources toward closing the cancer health disparities gap
We offer training and professional development experiences for undergraduates, graduates, postbaccalaureates, and nursing postdocs interested in cancer and cancer disparities research.
We offer research funding opportunities for UMB and DF/HCC faculty to collaborate on innovative cancer and cancer disparities research that spans the sciences.
We work with community partners to build capacity for using evidence-based programs and strategies for health promotion.
